Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

What is sensitive personal information?

Under CPRA §1798.140(ae), sensitive personal information includes categories such as:

• Precise geolocation
• Financial account numbers, debit or credit card numbers (with access codes)
• Race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or union membership
• Contents of mail, email, and text messages (where not the intended recipient)
• Genetic data, biometric information, health data, and sex life/orientation data

What we currently collect

We do not currently collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA. Specifically:

• Precise geolocation: we do NOT store the precise GPS coordinates of the location where you scanned a receipt. Location is used only in the moment of scanning to help identify the store, and is then discarded.
• Financial account information: we do not collect or store banking details, account numbers, or payment card numbers. Payment request messages contain only a plain amount and description.
• Race, ethnicity, health, biometric, and other SPI categories: not collected in the current version of the App.

This page exists proactively so that California residents can exercise their CPRA rights if our data practices change in future.

How to limit use (if SPI is collected in future)

If we begin collecting any category of sensitive personal information, California residents will be able to limit its use to what is necessary to provide the service by:

• Toggling the relevant setting in Settings > Data & Privacy, or
• Emailing support-budget.app@logicalsolutionsinnovations.com with the subject line "CPRA Limit Sensitive Personal Information Request".
